We offer alot for your business marketing program; make sure you are taking advantage of all we have to offer! New advertising signs sending traffic to the website & encouraging residents to shop local were put up. Shop LOCAL - Support your local businesses. They will find information about your business online at our site. Everyone shops online today! Highlight YOUR business right up front with Business of the Month. New members get prime exposure. Change or add to your webpage listed here. Need updated? Just send off an email & we will work with you to get you up to date with new pictures & info. Digital desktop signs showing different business information all over the township on countertops are being designed with info on our Business Association members. Stop into S & T Bank or Harrison City Video to get a glimpse of that program (We will have 10 frames going shortly in prime locations). Taking Care of Business, a newsletter with some added humor to highlight several members & keep business names out there. Contact us by email to submit info for a short story & pictures about your business. These will printed & placed on business counters throughout the Township. Literature exchange. You want it, we will connect you up with others that will put out your literature in their business. Most of all: We VERY MUCH support & recommend other members. This cannot be underestimated. If we need services - We look to our members first! We talk to the community on a regular basis & we talk about you!

We will keep in touch with you via email if you do not want to attend meetings so that you won't miss out on anything. If you like meetings, we will be having more this year to please you. A membership and organizational meeting was held March 10th at 5:30 PM at the PT Municipal Building. The next meeting is Thursday, July 17th at 6 pm (5:30 for Dessert buffet) at the municipal building. We have switched to an email contact list to save mailing costs & just for overall speed. History: What do the Penn Township Business & Professional Association & The Penn Township Business Guide have in common? Though separate, they have Lots in common!!! In the process of creating the very first book, the work began of visiting individual businesses to solicit advertising. There were discussions about their future business plans, their ideas to promote business & ways that together we could accomplish those things...and so much more! A meeting was set up to bring all the different business owners together to start a local chamber of commerce. With standing room only, almost 100 business owners attended that first meeting. The Penn Township Business & Professional Association was formed in 1987. Since then the organization has gone thru many changes. The most recent being a big change in direction for 2008. We will do much more local advertising to market our businesses in 2008. We are proud to say we are the businesses that care about our community and stand behind that with our actions. ...
