Santa lit the tree & we had a HUGE crowd for the evening. We enjoyed refreshments and treats sponsored the Penn Twp Business Association while the Penn Trafford Community Alumni Band played a fantastic concert for all. Take a few moments to enjoy some of the photos from that night. Anyone that had pictures taken with Santa can pick them up anytime after Tuesday, Dec 8th, at the Rt 130 S&T Bank.

Why Shop Local?           How Important Is It?

Penn Township is a small rural community made up of many smaller businesses. Owners are usually long time residents of Penn Township that have been born & raised here or they are now currently raising a young family.

Our business owners are proud community supporters! Many times though, people do not realize how much is asked of our small businesses. Just about every event that takes place in our schools, our churches and organizations have a business leader involved somehow. Whether it be in the preparation of the events or in the financing of them, Penn Township businesses are extremely involved in their community! On any given day, you may find, not one, but a stack of letters requesting donations on the owners desk... But what does that mean to you?

Our Penn Township Business Association members love to give back to their community and offer support where needed. BUT they DO need your support to continue to do this. It is VERY important to buy local, shop local and support these small Penn Township business owners. When small businesses close their doors, the whole community takes a loss.

The Penn Township Business Association encourages you to think of their members first. They are the ones that believe in giving back; they make many community events possible and their members go above & beyond the call of duty. You can view a list of current members below.

If your Penn Township business is not a currently a member, we encourage you to join with us today. We offer many great advertising perks to reach our local community. We are interested in YOUR ideas and we look forward to meeting you soon. Our next meeting, is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20th (location to be announced), with light refreshments. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have or any discussions to be placed on the agenda.
