We charge by the job or by the hour. We don't do UPFRONT pricing - and highly recommend never using it!!! Larry wrote articles published in national plumbing trade magazines speaking out for customers against up front pricing. Upfront pricing only works for the company since it requires the service tech to OVERcharge you up front. Companies must cover any scenario that will come up (regardless if it does or not). They also charge ridiculous truck charges just to come give you the upfront price (and you don't get that back unless you hire them at the higher prices). Stay away from upfront pricing for any type of service you hire! (You will thank us for that tip).
